Khokhars

Khokhars
   A Rachnao Doab tribe inhabiting the large tract that had cooperated with Muizz al-Din Muhammad Ghauri when he came to besiege Lahore in 1180. They were later suppressed by him harshly. In 1206, Muhammad Ghauri was assassinated by a Khokhar tribesman.
